Terms and Conditions

Please read our Terms & Conditions carefully. By booking a site/accommodation, you agree to comply with the Ballinacourty House Terms and Conditions, including our Site Rules.

Booking

Ballinacourty House Caravan and Camping Park and its facilities are intended for family holidays. We only accept bookings from families or couples – no hens or stags or anyone wishing to stay up all night.

We have a strict noise curfew on our site from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. We reserve the right to decline or terminate the booking of any guest whose behaviour interferes with or may interfere with the comfort of other guests. In this event, no refunds will be made.

Management reserves the right to cancel any booking without explanation up to 24 hours after the time of booking and refund any payment made.

Payment

Payments can be made by email using a debit card or credit card. Debit cards have no processing fee. Credit cards have a 2% processing fee. Following your booking and payment, you will receive a receipt by email confirming your payment. If you do not receive this email within 24 hours please contact us.

Payment on arrival to the park can only be made by cash, debit card, or credit card. No caravan/motorhome/tent will be allocated a site until the full balance has been paid.

Deposits/payments are only refundable or transferrable with a minimum of 7-days’ notice. Refunds cannot be made for any amendments made to the booking on arrival or during your stay. Please consider holiday insurance to avoid disappointment.

Caravan and Pitch Allocation

Sites are available on a first come, first served basis. We will endeavour to meet all special requests but we cannot guarantee that units booked in together will be beside each other on-site.

No Shows

Touring & Camping: If no notification is given, and the pitch is not occupied by 11 a.m. the day after the booked arrival date, then the Park reserves the right to re-let the pitch with payment non-refundable and the booking non-transferrable.

Arrival/Departure

On arrival, all customers/visitors must report to reception. Your arrival is welcome from 2 p.m. for camping/touring bookings. Access to the park will not be permitted until payment is received in full. All visitors must arrive before 9 p.m. unless alternative arrangements have been made with reception.

Checkout time on the day of departure is by 11 a.m. No refunds will be given for departing nights early.

Dogs

Dogs are allowed on the caravan and camping park, but they must be kept on a short lead and supervised by an adult at all times. Any dog that is deemed to be unsuitable or a nuisance will result in the owner being asked to remove it from the site immediately.

By law, all dog owners must have a dog licence and dogs must be under the control of their owner or another capable person at all times. Some breeds must be muzzled when in a public place.

BBQs

BBQs are allowed as long as they are up 46cm (18”) off the grass and supervised by an adult at all times. Please put disposable BBQs in the bin area when cold, otherwise, they may start a fire.

NO OPEN FIRES PERMITTED.

Children

Children are the responsibility of and must be supervised by their parents/guardians at all times. Parents or guardians must ensure that their children use the playground equipment properly.

Site Rules
  • All customers/visitors must check in at reception on arrival.
  • All children must be supervised by their parents/guardians at all times.
  • Checkout time on the day of departure is 11 a.m.
  • There is a strict Noise Curfew on the site from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.
  • Noise must be kept at a level that doesn’t disturb others.
  • Unsafe behaviour is strictly prohibited at all times.
  • Anyone causing a disturbance on the site will be evicted without a refund.
  • All dogs must be kept on a short lead and supervised by an adult at all times.
  • All disposable BBQs must be cooled and disposed of responsibly.
  • Gas cylinders must be properly recycled and not placed in the general rubbish.
  • All vehicles must be insured while in the park.
  • No commercial vehicles are permitted on site.
  • There is a minimum stay of three nights on bank holiday weekends for caravan and camping.
Care Of Your Possessions

You are responsible for your possessions, valuables, and money while on holiday with us. You should not leave these items unattended. We do not accept any liability for loss or damage to your possessions.

Changes To Your Holiday By Us

Ballinacourty House Caravan and Camping Park reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, whether for safety reasons or otherwise, and with or without prior notice, to close the park or any part of it. In the event of such closure, Ballinacourty House Caravan and Camping Park will refund any customer the cost of his/her payments for accommodation.

Dangerous Items

No shotgun, knife, firearm, air weapon, archery equipment, fireworks, or illegal substances may be brought onto our Park under any circumstances by you or anyone in your party.

Behaviour and Compliance with this Agreement

You are responsible for the behaviour of all members of your party. Offensive or illegal behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in the Gardai being involved. We may ask you and/or any member of your party to leave immediately if your conduct results in Garda attendance or is considered by us to be inappropriate. No refunds or compensation will be given in these circumstances.

General/Liability

All vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. The management accepts no liability for loss or damage while in the park or otherwise.

Anyone found vandalizing or causing damage to any building, equipment, or property faces immediate eviction and/or prosecution. The person who booked will be responsible for all charges for all damage/breakages/loss caused by themselves or their visitors to the site or park facilities or other customers’ property.

Ballinacourty House Caravan and Camping Park reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse entry onto or remove from its premises any person who:

  • Has behaved or is likely to behave in a manner that affects the safety or enjoyment of other visitors;
  • Has used threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour or in any way provokes or behaves in a manner that may provoke a breach of the peace;
  • Is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
Compensation Payable by You

By booking, you agree that we have the right either during or after your stay to recover from you, by credit card, debit card, or otherwise, the costs of:

  • Any property or accommodation damage;
  • Any compensation we may pay to others;
  • Any other costs, fees, or levies that we may incur, resulting from your action or inaction.
Fire

The fire assembly point for the caravan park is the area to the side of the reception building. In the event of an emergency dial 999 for the emergency services and notify the park manager immediately.

Data Protection

The information supplied on the booking form will be stored on a computer for administrative purposes only. Under no circumstance will this information be provided to a third party.

Important Information

This agreement and any dispute between us will be governed by and construed in accordance with Irish Law.

We will not be responsible for any matters that result from any unforeseeable events that are beyond our control.

Your stay will not give rise to any tenancy agreement between us.

In all cases, except personal injury or death, our liability to you for the total of all claims is limited to the cost of your booking less cancellation, amendment, or separate charges.

Should any part of our agreement be deemed by law to be void, the remainder of this agreement will, if capable, continue in full force and effect.
